Today I've attended the ideas4all event in the Parc Bit (Palma de Mallorca). I enjoy the presentation by Ana Maria Llopis, her company: Ideas4all.com invites customers to submit ideas online and allows users to rate the ideas so that – by means what is called a democratic system - the best one rises to the top.
When reading an aviation related publication ones get used to find an acronyms glossary - normally placed after the index; and also a few Latin abbreviations e.g: ACDM for Airport Collaborative Decision Making, ASMGCS for Advanced Surveilance??, etc.(an so on) the former is Greek.
Nowadays it is very common the use of the e-mail to delegate duties.
I personally have my doubts that a few lines in an e-mail would clearly define duties, authority and performances better than for example a video-conference or the traditional F2F meeting.

One thing I've learnt is that approximatly 90% of the time oneself spend in a corporation is feigning, one is feigning during meetings with peers, one is feigning most of the time when informally discussing with a director, one feign at the cafeteria. I've suspected this during ten years.... but till today I haven't had confirmation it. How I did it? it's simple I confronted my opinion with that of an independent opinion.
