The plans of an airline of offering women-only lavatories in its flights have caused division of opinions. This decision took place after a 2007 online poll survey that revealed that 90 % of women polled said they found the idea attractive.
The decision intend to make the flight experience more comfortable for those women who feel discomfort using shared toilets, though men will be able to use it in cases of urgency or when there were very few female passengers on the flight.
The toilet would be located in the rear of the plane and be available to women passengers from all classes.
Prevention is better than cure: A japanese airline claims that empty bladders mean lighter passengers, a lighter aircraft and thus lower fuel use. So dont get surprised if airline staff present at boarding gates ask you to relieve yourself before boarding.
