Linkedin. British anthropologist Robin Dunbar theorized that an average person can't easily have more than 150 people in his tribe. In other words after having add 150 contacts to your Linkedin professional network we can't keep track of more. It's too complicated. Let 150 be the typical figure, if we proceed direct to the facts e.g. 500 is the number of contacts an outstanding person can produce. Is wise to think that less than 15% of networkers would have more than 500 contacts!. If we look... Continuar leyendo

A request for proposal (referred to as RFP) is an invitation for suppliers. I am now writing down a RFP regarding multilateration mode S. The main benefit of multilateration implementation will be a "state of the art" surface traffic surveillance that would help the controller to avoid accidents and incidents.
My company is going to award the project based upon cost, the former argument suffice to be careful when crafting and reviewing the RFP before distributing it to vendors. When... Continuar leyendo

I like the idea, a world in constant change makes that what once worked well turns out obsolete. Progress requires to stimulate ideas, innovation, insight, research of new ways of doing things. To be effective, it is necessary to be able to adapt and to know how to lead changes. There is not doubt that it should be necessary to bring together people, to connect with... Continuar leyendo
In accordance with magazine Wired, this is the strategy that Lawrence Lessig recommends to use in desperate situations:

2. Write a respectful note to explain them the squeeze in which you meet. Apologize e.g. write five times mea culpa in equal number of paragraphs - and promise that in the near future you have the commitment ... Continuar leyendo
